The Reel Life Film Club is a group of film fans in Oxford who meet each month to watch films and discuss them together.
Films often raise some of the big questions of life and get us thinking about serious issues - philosophical, moral and spiritual. We like to explore the way films deal with these issues and what, if anything, they can teach us about real life.
Although many of us are Christians we welcome anyone to join these discussions regardless of beliefs or background.
Snacks and drinks are available during the film. Afterwards, over tea and coffee, we discuss the film and some of the issues it raises.
If you are interested in joining us just get in touch!
The Reel Life Film Club usually meets once a month during term time on a Thursday.
We meet at 7:15pm to allow time to watch the film and talk about it afterwards.
Reel Life Film Club is hosted by Magdalen Road Church in East Oxford where we meet to watch films projected on a big screen in the main hall.
You can find us on this Google Map, or contact us if you need further directions.
It helps us make the event run smoothly if we have a rough idea of who is coming, so please drop us an email in the week before the next Reel Life if you'd like to come along.
To join our mailing list for monthly reminders of upcoming Reel Life events, to ask a question, or to RSVP, please email info@reel-life.org.uk
